The Flasher 2.0
WTH is IPL?
The Flasher 2.0 uses our proprietary PrecisionPulse™ IPL (aka Intense Pulsed Light) technology to safely remove your hair with light. Similar to laser hair removal, the light that is emitted by The Flasher 2.0 is designed to safely penetrate your skin and be absorbed by the melanin in your hair. This light is then converted into heat, which, over time, will permanently and safely destroy your hair follicles and prevent them from growing back.
Not everyone is a good candidate for IPL, look at our Skin Safety to see if IPL is a good fit for you.
Melanin in your hair absorbs light from IPL.
Heat slowly destroys the hair follicle over time.
Follicles can no longer produce hair, leaving you with smooth, bare skin.
What makes Nood's IPL Different?
“Nood uses cutting-edge PrecisionPulse™ tech. PrecisionPulse™ IPL flashes at 10 ms, which is up to 4 times longer than competitor IPL*. This means light is less likely to be absorbed by the melanin in your skin and more by the melanin in your hair for safer, and more effective at-home treatments.”
